About the role

Are you a people-focused organiser who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment?

We're looking for a driven, hands-on Regional People Consultant to join our team at Villa Park, home of Aston Villa Football Club.

You'll manage workforce planning, recruitment and staffing across Retail, Culinary and Back of House, working closely with venue operations and the wider Constellation team.

From recruitment and onboarding to rotas and live event support, you'll ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. This is a varied role supporting Premier League matchdays and major events, where you'll build relationships, solve problems and make a real difference to our people and operations.

What you'll be doing

• Lead staffing across Retail, Culinary and BOH, including recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and fulfilment.
• Forecast staffing requirements for matchdays, events and operational demand.
• Manage bookings, rotas and staffing changes through Ubeya.
• Work with Resourcing teams to attract, assess and onboard suitable candidates.
• Build strong relationships with venue managers, operational teams and our workforce.
• Support staff engagement, attendance, performance and wellbeing.
• Manage event-day check-ins, deployments, no-shows and last-minute cover.
• Maintain accurate staffing, attendance and compliance records.
• Monitor staffing performance, fill rates and workforce data to identify improvements.
• Ensure compliance with right-to-work, food safety, health & safety and employment requirements.
• Support employee relations matters, escalating where HR involvement is required.
• Act as a key onsite contact for staffing matters and support other Constellation venues when required.

What we're looking for

-You'll have at least 1 year's experience in hospitality, events, staffing, recruitment or workforce planning, alongside:

-Experience coordinating large workforces.

-An understanding of hospitality operations across Retail, Culinary and BOH.

-Confidence using workforce management systems.

-Strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skills.

-Experience managing rotas, staffing changes and last-minute requirements.

-A proactive approach to problem-solving, decision-making and taking ownership.

-Experience working to staffing targets or KPIs, with an understanding of labour costs.

-Knowledge of right-to-work, food safety and health & safety requirements.

-Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and occasional bank holidays.

-Ability to commute to Villa Park regularly.

The working pattern

This is a 40-hour, 5-day-out-of-7 role, primarily onsite at Villa Park, with regular evening and weekend working to support matchdays and events.

Working patterns are planned in advance wherever possible, with a flexible approach that balances operational needs.

Occasional support at other Constellation venues may be required with reasonable notice.
