Main Pastry Chef Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, decorate, and present a wide range of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, viennoiserie, and patisserie products to the highest standards.
• Ensure all products are prepared and presented in line with menu specifications and company standards.
• Maintain exceptional levels of consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
• Support kitchen teams with daily pastry production and service requirements.
• Assist in the creation and development of seasonal desserts and pastry offerings where required.
• Communicate effectively with chefs, managers, and colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Provide support, coaching, and encouragement to junior team members when needed.
• Maintain exceptional food hygiene, allergen awareness, and food safety standards.
• Manage your section efficiently whilst remaining calm and organised during busy service periods.
• Take pride in your work and contribute positively to the team environment.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for passionate pastry professionals who demonstrate:

• Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of pastry production, dessert preparation, baking techniques, and presentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a wider culinary team.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding food quality.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work across multiple London locations.
