CHEF DE PARTIE | TASIS ENGLAND | £32,000

40 hours per week | Term time only, 48 weeks per year | 5 days out of 7, various shifts


Lodestone House, part of Compass Group UK & Ireland, is recruiting for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join the catering team at TASIS England, an independent school in Egham.

You will be part of a team passionate about preparing fresh, high-quality food every day and delivering an outstanding dining experience for pupils and staff.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled Chef de Partie to work alongside an experienced team of chefs, contribute to the school's food offer and develop your career within independent school catering.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Running your section to the required standards and specifications

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting fresh food to a consistently high standard

  • Ensuring all dishes meet required quality and portion specifications

  • Following Food Safety, HACCP, allergen and Health & Safety procedures

  • Supporting and training Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants within your section

  • Ensuring food is stored correctly and waste is minimised

  • Assisting with food orders, deliveries and stock storage

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and surrounding areas

  • Using kitchen machinery and equipment safely and correctly

  • Supporting the wider catering team to deliver an efficient and high-quality food service

  • Carrying out other reasonable duties to support the catering operation


WHO YOU ARE
  • An experienced Chef de Partie with a strong professional kitchen background

  • Passionate about fresh, high-quality food and excellent presentation

  • Confident running a section within a busy catering environment

  • Strong culinary skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Creative, with an interest in current food trends and techniques

  • Good knowledge of Food Safety, hygiene and Health & Safety requirements

  • Self-motivated, organised and able to work effectively under pressure

  • A strong team player with good communication and people skills

  • Professional in presentation and customer service

  • Able to drive

  • Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check and wait for clearance
