The role involves supporting and deputising for the Suites Manager while leading day-to-day suite operations during events. This includes managing teams across food, beverage, kitchen, pantry and bar services, ensuring smooth planning and delivery of a high-quality guest experience. The role is responsible for meeting operational standards, KPIs and client requirements while delivering exceptional service aligned with Levy UK’s values and vision.

Deputy Suites Manager - The Role

  • Health & Safety: Maintain all H&S, HSE, RSA, and company compliance standards, ensuring incidents, maintenance issues, and reports are properly recorded and followed up.
  • People Management: Lead, motivate, and support the team through recruitment, induction, training, development, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Team Communication: Conduct effective pre-shift briefings, communicate professionally, delegate tasks clearly, and maintain positive team morale.
  • Financial & Labour Management: Support labour planning, manage staffing levels against budgets, control operating costs, and contribute to achieving departmental financial targets.
  • Sales & Revenue: Proactively drive sales, upselling, promotions, and increased customer spend while ensuring the team understands and delivers against sales targets.
  • Stock & Cash Control: Monitor stock throughout events, manage transfers and stock sheets, investigate card/till variances, complete end-of-day procedures, and maintain accurate asset records.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relationships: Build strong relationships with AEG, event managers, clients, and internal teams, acting as a key Levy contact during events.
  • Customer Experience: Remain visible and active across all suites, respond to customer needs and feedback, and ensure consistently high standards of guest service.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure catering and hospitality operations follow SOPs, Core Signatures, agreed service standards, and company procedures, while continuously identifying improvements.
  • Innovation & Market Awareness: Challenge existing ways of working, introduce improvements, support marketing initiatives, conduct menu tastings, and stay aware of competitors and industry trends.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Skills: Communicates effectively, influences at different levels, builds strong relationships, and is confident working with clients, teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Professional & Technical Skills: Has London market experience, strong IT proficiency, good English and numeracy skills, and demonstrates enthusiasm, motivation, energy, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
