We’re looking for a hands-on Food Services Manager to lead a busy corporate staff dining restaurant in a brand-new Canary Wharf workspace.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of the daily dining operation, leading a team of six across front and back of house. With high-volume service and busy peak periods, you’ll keep the team focused, service flowing and standards consistently high.

You’ll bring energy to the floor, work closely with the kitchen and make sure every service delivers on quality, consistency and a warm welcome.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead daily briefings that motivate the team and set them up for a successful service.
• Be a visible, hands-on presence on the floor, leading by example.
• Manage busy service periods and create a smooth, welcoming guest experience.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to maintain quality and availability.
• Keep standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation high.
• Resolve issues quickly and confidently, taking ownership from start to finish.
• Monitor food costs and operational efficiency.
• Review each day’s performance and turn ideas into improvements as the operation grows.

About You

• Experienced in restaurant or hospitality management, with strong front of house leadership.
• Confident running high-volume services and keeping calm under pressure.
• Highly organised, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• A supportive, decisive leader who gets the best from a small team.
• Commercially aware, with an understanding of food costs and operational efficiency.
