Shift Information

• Monday to Friday shifts only
• Typical shift times: Between 7:00am – 4:00pm
• Examples include 7:00am – 3:30pm and 7:30am – 4:00pm
• Ideally, we're looking for someone who can commit to Monday to Friday, although we are happy to split the role between two candidates with complementary availability.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and cooking fresh, high-quality meals for corporate dining and hospitality services
• Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Preparing food in line with company recipes and presentation standards
• Assisting with menu preparation and food production
• Managing stock rotation and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
• Following Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH and allergen procedures at all times
• Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to deliver an exceptional food service

What We're Looking For

• An experienced Chef de Partie or equivalent level chef
• Passion for producing fresh, high-quality food
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A positive, professional and team-focused attitude
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Reliability and commitment to delivering exceptional food and service

Uniform & Equipment Requirements

Please arrive for your shift with:

• Your own chef whites
• Your own chef knives
• Black non-slip safety shoes

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar chef role is essential.
• A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is essential (training can be provided where required).
• A flexible approach and the ability to work across both the Brighton and Burgess Hill sites is advantageous.
