Retail Operations Assistant - Manchester United | Full-Time / Permanent £31,786.59 + excellent benefits including healthcare, wellbeing support, 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, meals on duty, and more. The Role.. The purpose of the Retail Operations Assistant role is to support the successful delivery of retail operations across matchdays, stadium events, and trading periods. The role is responsible for helping ensure retail outlets are operationally ready, appropriately staffed, compliant with company standards, and capable of delivering excellent customer service and commercial results. Working closely with the Head of Retail, and wider operational teams, the Retail Operations Assistant supports workforce planning, event preparation, operational standards, and day-to-day retail activities. The role acts as a key point of coordination between Retail, Logistics, Stores, Hospitality, Culinary, and Stadium Operations teams to ensure staffing, stock, equipment, and operational requirements are effectively organised and delivered. The Retail Operations Assistant plays an important role in maintaining service standards, supporting team development, monitoring operational performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Through effective planning, communication, and operational support, the role contributes to the achievement of retail sales targets, customer satisfaction goals, and the delivery of a positive fan and visitor experience.
