Location: Ironmongers Hall, EC2Y 8AA

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Predominantly Monday-Friday (Occasional weekends) 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality food and service for up to 160 covers per day.
• Ensure all food is prepared and cooked safely, consistently, and to a high standard.
• Manage stock, ordering, and portion control to minimise waste and maintain cost targets.
• Monitor food costs and support budget management.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
• Lead and support the kitchen team, promoting strong teamwork and communication.
• Demonstrate excellent cooking skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Manage service effectively under pressure, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
• Resolve day-to-day challenges quickly while maintaining exceptional guest experiences.
