Wedding Conference & Events Coordinator - Sedgebrook Hall, Northampton | Full-Time / Permanent - £28,828 Per Annum

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Weddings, Conference & Events  Co-ordinator at Sedgebrook Hall (The Venues Collection) on a full-time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

 Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Monday to Friday with  occasion al Saturday suited around the business. Working hours, 8 hours a day between 8am & 6pm.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Meet with clients to discuss their wedding vision and preferences
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the wedding planning process, including contract negotiation, and budget management
• Create and maintain detailed timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on time
• Communicate with the wedding party to ensure they are informed and comfortable with the plan
• Handle any unexpected issues or emergencies that may arise during the planning process.
• Manage confirmed bookings and co-ordinate information in order to hand over to the operational team.
• Provide a high level of customer care, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively in line with the company guidelines and policies.
• Ensure the smooth operation of the sales office by defining, documenting, and delivering a professional sales service.
• You will be required to be pro-active and research past and present companies.
• Used to handling a high volume of enquiries and dealing with those in a timely manner.
• Be flexible and dedicated to all types of sales enquiries.
• Opera S&C experienced preferred but not essential

Our ideal Weddings, Conference & Events  Co-ordinator will:

You will be passionate about customer service and hospitality with an interest events. You will possess the knowledge of events and sports.  A head for figures and commercial awareness.

• Excellent verbal and communication skills is confident and can make decisions
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Confident and ability to be a team player. Assertive, calm and works well under pressure.
• Ability to multitask, think fast and to deliver solutions to customer requirements
• Diplomatic and discreet and can manage customer feedback and confidently manage complaint handling
• A good sense of humour, a Self-starter and ability to motivate others
• Motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
• A “can do “attitude & instils this within the wider team
• To be an excellent ambassador for the business
• This role will involve some weekend working due to the nature of wedding showrounds & appointments
