Location: Westbury, BA13 4WD
Rate of pay: £28,000 per annum, plus overtime at 1.25x
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri, 07:00 – 15:30 (occasional Saturdays for cover)
About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Chef to join our busy canteen-style kitchen. You’ll prepare high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and help improve our food services, while maintaining hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
You’ll also monitor stock and manage kitchen cleaning. This role is ideal for a practical, organised chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Parking is available on-site, and driving is essential unless you are very local.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
- Overseeing and implementing menu changes
- Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
- Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
- Monitoring inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked
- Overseeing kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards
Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Satefty regulations
