More about the role:

Responsibilities: 

As Operational Events Manager you will be hands on role.  Your duties will include:-

Overall responsibility for delivering excellent service in a fast paced quality C&E operation, with key segments of weddings, Client events and small meetings, ensuring the highest of standards and excellent customer service.

 

  • Working closely with General Manager and Sales Manager
  • Oversee all operational aspects of events, from planning to execution
  • Lead and manage a large variable team
  • Manage budgets, coordinate logistics, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Liaise with clients to understand their event objectives and needs
  • Compile rotas in line with budget and business needs
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and identify improvement areas 

Who you are: 

Our Ideal Operational Events Manager will: 

  • Have knowledge and experience of working within the events and hospitality industry
  • Previous experience of managing a team
  • Excellent people management and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Flexible in regards to working hour
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment and able to multi- task
