Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams? We’re looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting operational leaders with financial insight, analysis, and performance management.

The RoleAs an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will support the Finance Business Partner and operational leadership teams to deliver strong financial performance. You’ll help translate financial data into meaningful insights, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure strong financial controls across the business.
You’ll work closely with department heads and venue teams, helping them understand their numbers and make informed decisions that drive performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Finance Business Partner with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Produce and analyse weekly and monthly financial reports
Provide commercial insight to operational teams to support decision-making
Monitor cost controls, labour spend, and operational margins
Assist with month-end processes, including variance analysis and reporting
Work closely with venue leadership to ensure financial targets are understood and achieved
Support business cases, investment proposals, and financial modelling
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue improvement
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, operational environment and can confidently communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues.
You will ideally have:
Experience in a finance analyst, management accounts, or assistant finance business partner role
Progress toward a professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
Confidence working with financial systems and Excel
