Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams? We’re looking for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting operational leaders with financial insight, analysis, and performance management.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your finance career within a fast-paced hospitality and events environment, where finance is a true partner to the business.

The Role

As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will support the Finance Business Partner and operational leadership teams to deliver strong financial performance. You’ll help translate financial data into meaningful insights, support budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure strong financial controls across the business.

You’ll work closely with department heads and venue teams, helping them understand their numbers and make informed decisions that drive performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance Business Partner with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Produce and analyse weekly and monthly financial reports

  • Provide commercial insight to operational teams to support decision-making

  • Monitor cost controls, labour spend, and operational margins

  • Assist with month-end processes, including variance analysis and reporting

  • Work closely with venue leadership to ensure financial targets are understood and achieved

  • Support business cases, investment proposals, and financial modelling

  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures

  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and revenue improvement

About You

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, operational environment and can confidently communicate financial information to non-finance colleagues.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience in a finance analyst, management accounts, or assistant finance business partner role

  • Progress toward a professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent

  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Confidence working with financial systems and Excel

What We Offer
  • Competitive salary

  • Opportunities for career development and professional progression

  • Exposure to a dynamic hospitality, events, or venue-based environment

  • A collaborative and supportive team culture

If you’re looking for a finance role where you can truly partner with the business and make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
