About the Role
As a General Assistant, you will play a vital front‑of‑house role within a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment. This is an in‑person position supporting workplace services across four floors, where you will be a visible, proactive, and highly reliable presence for our client teams. This is a full time, 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.
You will be the “go‑to” person day‑to‑day — ensuring spaces are well-presented, stocked, and operating smoothly, and that excellent communication and service standards are consistently delivered. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front‑of‑house duties, providing a warm, professional, and confident presence
- Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and requests
- Stocking and maintaining pantry and refreshment areas across four floors
- Supporting workplace services, including moving furniture, desks, and equipment as required
- Assisting with event setup, room layouts, and general preparation
- Basic food preparation, counter setup, and serving of food and beverages when needed
- Ensuring the highest level of customer care is delivered to clients and visitors
- Following all food hygiene and Health & Safety guidelines (training provided)
- Ensuring correct storage and handling of food items and equipment
- Supporting the on‑site Supervisor and colleagues in a flexible, positive manner
- Adapting to a fast-moving workload with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
About You:
- Strong, clear communication skills
- A friendly, professional, front‑of‑house approach
- Versatile, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple floors
- A proactive “can-do” attitude
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and support a variety of tasks
- A good level of English
- Previous catering, hospitality, or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential
