Chef Manager - Cardiff 

£32,500 per annum 

40 hours per week 

Monday - Friday 6.30am - 3pm, occasional weekend emergency cover 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead our kitchen and service operations in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident professional with a strong contract catering background who thrives in a hands-on leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen and service operations

• Deliver high-quality, fresh staff meals

• Manage menus, ordering, stock control and food cost targets

• Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergens, HACCP and health & safety standards

• Supervise, train and motivate the catering team

• Complete daily administrative duties using PC systems

• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service

About You

• Experienced Chef with a contract catering background

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively

• Confident managing food safety, allergens and compliance procedures

• Skilled in budgeting, stock control and achieving financial targets

• Comfortable completing office duties and using computer systems

• Customer-focused, professional and relationship-driven

• Reliable, hands-on and calm under pressure with a can-do attitude
