Team Leader

Join our growing team! Team Leader needed to support our dynamic food service operation!

We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to help drive service excellence, support the team, and deliver an outstanding client and customer experience within a busy Compass site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience who is ready to step up, take ownership, and be part of a people-focused, food-led environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading by example to deliver all aspects of the Client Food Program to an exceptional standard

• Supporting and empowering the team to provide outstanding customer service

• Ensuring food displays, counters, and seating areas meet brand and hygiene standards

• Actively promoting food offers, promotions, and engaging with clients and customers

• Handling customer feedback and resolving queries or complaints professionally

• Supporting stock control, waste management, and maintaining a well-presented unit

• Maintaining full compliance with health, safety, fire, and hygiene regulations

• Working closely with chefs to ensure menus are well displayed and service runs smoothly

What you’ll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a customer service-focused role

• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams

• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with team members and management

• Strong understanding of food service standards and customer expectations 

• Commitment to health, safety, and maintaining high operational standards
