Aintree Golf Centre Commis Chef

📍 Location: Aintree Golf Centre

⏰ Hours: Café runs 7 days a week, approx. 30/40 hrs per week

💷 Pay: £13.21 p/h

We’re looking for a motivated Commis Chef to join our friendly café team at a busy golf centre. This role combines kitchen duties with some front of house responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working with customers as well as food.

Kitchen responsibilities:

• Daily food preparation
• Preparing and serving fresh, high-quality café dishes
• Supporting smooth service during busy periods and café events
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation
• Following all health & safety and food safety procedures

Front of House & customer service:

• Serving customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Operating the till and handling payments accurately
• Taking food and drink orders and answering customer queries
• Keeping the café, counter, and seating areas clean, tidy, and well-presented
• Supporting the team to ensure a welcoming atmosphere at all times

About you:

• A genuine interest in food and hospitality
• Comfortable interacting with customers and working as part of a team
• Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
• Able to stay calm and organised during busy periods
• Previous kitchen or café experience is beneficial but not essential
