Chef de Partie

Location: Near Liverpool Street, London
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Pay: £17.14 per hour

We are seeking a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at a site near Liverpool Street. This role is ideal for a passionate chef who thrives in a quality-focused, professional food service environment and values a great work/life balance.


Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all client and company health & safety procedures, including food information regulations and food safety checks

  • Run a section of the kitchen to the required standards

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to agreed standards and portion specifications

  • Supervise and train commis chefs or kitchen assistants within your section

  • Ensure correct food recovery and storage to minimise waste

  • Assist with food ordering and stock control

  • Support the receipt and proper storage of deliveries

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness across kitchen and work areas

  • Ensure the safe and correct use of kitchen machinery and equipment

  • Carry out other reasonable duties to support effective food service delivery

About You
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role

  • Strong cooking skills with the ability to prepare complex, refined dishes

  • Previous experience in contract catering is desirable

  • Quality-driven with excellent attention to detail

  • Creative with knowledge of current food trends

  • Sound understanding of food hygiene, health & safety standards

  • Able to work calmly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment

  • Passionate about food and a positive team player
