About the Role

We are seeking a Community Ambassador to join our dynamic team at Rapport. The role provides high-quality service to clients and customers while supporting the successful delivery of the ongoing project. It works closely with the Community Service Manager team to deliver business and operational support throughout the project lifecycle, including guest services, meeting room setup and cleanliness, reception and room bookings, client lunch service, and support for the internal coffee kiosk.

The scope of activities is broad and centred on enhancing the experience of floor users and the overall working environment. The Site-Specific Community Ambassador will ensure a consistent and effective level of service across all floor-related matters, while also supporting the health and wellbeing of the workforce, fostering relationships, and building a strong workplace community throughout the duration of the ongoing project.

Type of contract: Full-time, 1-year Fixed-term contract

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; 8 AM and 5 PM with some flexibility as per business needs)

Main responsibilities

  • Act as a welcoming first point of contact for guests, visitors, and staff, managing arrivals, enquiries, and meeting room experiences to agreed service standards.
  • Coordinate meeting room setup, presentation, catering, and transitions to ensure spaces are consistently project-ready and disruption is minimised.
  • Take ownership of client and employee interactions, resolving issues promptly and gathering feedback to improve service delivery during project change.
  • Provide hands-on support to the ongoing project, including facilities coordination, space moves, furniture reconfigurations, and behind-the-scenes operational tasks as required. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of building services, temporary changes, and project updates to guide users and support new ways of working, including digital service delivery.
  • Monitor desk, floor, and office utilisation daily and support moves and transitions in line with project phases and firm strategy (e.g. shared and hot-desking). 
  • Log, track, and follow up on maintenance, cleaning, security, and supplier issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Act as the key floor contact, building effective relationships with partners, stakeholders, and floor representatives, and communicating project updates and progress. 
  • Carry out floor standards audits, support clear desk and storage requirements, and provide ongoing meeting room and booking support as project needs evolve.

  • Be proficient in MS Word, Excel and other similar software packages.
  • Understand professional etiquette.
