About the Role
We're currently recruiting a dedicated Security Concierge & Events Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in 14Forty on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

As the Security Concierge & Event Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across the campus. You will provide day to day leadership to the security & Front of House team, ensure effective operational delivery, and play a central role in the organisation and smooth execution of campus events. This position requires strong communication skills, a customer focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Your key responsibilities may include:
• Working with the Facilities Manager to deliver security services to contractual standards.
• Ensure effective supervision across a 24/7 operation.
• Ensure compliance with written security protocols.
• Ensure all shifts correctly record incidents and activities.
• Complete quarterly security reviews and monthly risk reports.
• Support MBR & QBR reviews and complete required actions.
• Escalate breaches or failings immediately.
• Ensure correct use of helpdesk and processing of jobs.
• Manage agency staff onboarding and checks.
• Maintain HSE compliance and incident reporting.
• Support labour strategies and maintain client relationships.
• Ensure training and certification records are complete.
• Ensure compliance with site security protocols and H&S regulations.
• Oversee CCTV, access control, and conduct regular patrols.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate daily records, incident logs and reports.
• Supervise reception and concierge services.
• Manage visitor registration, meeting room bookings, and tenant enquiries.
• Act as main point of contact for conferences and events.
• Coordinate event setup, catering, logistics, and breakdown.
• Monitor crowd control and safety during events.
• Conduct post‑event evaluations and present findings
Our ideal Security Concierge & Events Supervisor will:
Essential
• Proven track record supervising security teams across multi‑site or large operations.
• Experience working with multiple teams and subcontractors.
• Strong day‑to‑day security service delivery experience.
• Effective communication with clients and management.
• Commercial awareness and understanding of the security market.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• IT literate.
Desirable
• Recognised security qualifications.
• Facilities Management background.
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations
• Knowledge of security management methods.
• Self‑motivated and adaptable to change.
