Catering Assistant 

Location: National Media & Science Museum, Bradford, BD1 1NQ

Salary: £12.21 per hour (paid weekly)

National Media & Science Museum is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Catering Team on a, zero-hour basis. You’ll be helping us ensure every guest enjoys a great experience!

About the Role:

As part of our Catering Team, you’ll play a key role in providing excellent service. Duties will vary but may include:

• Assisting with food and drink preparation and service
• Greeting and serving guests
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and furniture
• Supporting the smooth running of catering operations during peak periods
• Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations
    

Shift Options:

We offer a variety of shifts, which vary due to business needs, giving you flexibility while earning extra income. Please ensure you can commit to mainly working daytimes throughout the week and weekends.

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

• Experienced in hospitality, catering, or customer service 
• Able to work weekends and school holidays
• Over 17 years old
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Confident and comfortable engaging with guests
• A strong team player
• Positive with a welcoming attitude
