Electrical Engineer – Single-Site Role
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, based on experience

About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Preston site. This is a site-based position, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a close-knit operational team.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and equipment across the facility. You’ll play a key role in ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency in all electrical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs to minimise downtime.
• Support electrical installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

About You:

• Qualified to at least Level 3 NVQ / HNC in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of PLCs, control panels, and electrical schematics is desirable.
