Barista

We're currently recruiting for a driven and passionate Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks based at Nottingham.

Location: NG2 2GD

Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour

Working Pattern: Predominantly Monday-Thursday,  Fridays might be required to cover any staff shortages, 25 hours per week, shifts can fall anytime between 6:30am to 5:30pm, flexibility is a must

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Responsible for selling products and operating the till system 
• To manage Coffee shop and provide support in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• To lead shifts when assigned by line manager
• Responsible for delivering brand standards in, but not limited to cash management, opening the unit, preparing for the shift, closing the unit, order monitoring 
• Delivering high standards of customer service
• To perform the role of float where required
• Ensure all drinks and food are made and served to brand standards
• Support team throughout shift to ensure delivery of service to brand standard
• To ensure all coffee bar equipment is in good working order and report any faults as required
• Stock management - from taking deliveries, to replenishing the store and stock rotation
• Being proactive with supporting offers, promotions, and any loyalty schemes
• Carrying out cleaning duties in all aspects of the cafe  

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must have previous catering experience as this is essential 
• Trained to barista standard with full understanding of coffee making basics
• Literate & numerate
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, client & staff
• Passionate , friendly, and diligent
• Ability to work with a team, and on own initiative
• Flexible approach to the role
• Successful candidate must be willing to undergo a BPSS clearance
