Job / role title: SAP HANA Administrator
Reporting to: Enterprise Support & Security Vulnerability Team Leader

Primary responsibilities:
The SAP HANA Administrator role purpose is to lifecycle manage the Linux services in use to enable the business to achieve its business objectives and strategic plans.
The main duties of the role are:
- Administer, manage, and maintain SAP HANA databases.
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
- Support backup and recovery operations.
- Provide support and guidance to the SAP team.
- Resolve database performance issues, capacity issues, replication, and other data-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with database vendor license agreements.
- Incident and Problem resolution
- Project and Security Compliance tasks
Dimensions:
The role is based at the Parklands office, Birmingham but may involve travel to other Compass sites and third party suppliers.
