About the Role
As a Hospitality & Events Manager, you will lead the delivery of exceptional hospitality and events services for our clients and customers. You will be the driving force behind the team, ensuring flawless execution of daily operations, events, and functions. Working closely with the onsite team and leaders across the wider business, you will combine operational excellence with outstanding customer service. This is a full time, permanent role, working 40 hours per week, daytime and evening as required per event schedule, including occasional weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and oversee the delivery of a wide range of hospitality services and events, including fine dining dinners, canapé receptions, buffets, and corporate functions.
- Lead, develop, and inspire your team to deliver world-class hospitality and service standards.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring expectations are consistently exceeded.
- Drive sales and event growth through innovative promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and deliver on agreed financial targets.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety, and statutory requirements.
- Oversee event spaces and hospitality areas, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.
- Support the business’s sustainability and Net Zero commitments by minimising waste and driving responsible practices.
About You:
- Proven experience in hospitality, event management, or corporate catering, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Financial acumen, with a track record of managing budgets and delivering results.
- Sound knowledge of health & safety and food safety within a hospitality environment.
- A passion for delivering 5-star service and creating exceptional event experiences.
- Management qualification (desirable but not essential).
