Put simply, there are just five easy steps to follow.
Let’s look at each step in turn:
Step 1 – Jobsearch
Tell us about the kind of job you’re looking for by using the drop-down menus. You can search by job title, salary or location – you can even tell us how many miles you’re willing to travel, so we can narrow your search to your local area. When you see a job you think is right for you, click on it for a full job description.
Step 2 – Apply Online
Click on ‘Apply’ for your preferred position and you’ll need to register with us. You only do this once, then your details are already on our system if you apply for another job in the future. Your details will go straight to our administrator – and sometimes, you can contact the recruiter directly by clicking on their email.
Step 3 – Job Application
As soon as we’ve got your details, we’ll start carefully assessing you for the role you’ve applied for. You needn’t worry about us keeping in touch to tell you how things are progressing – one of our recruiters will contact you as soon as possible.
Step 4 – Interview
We’ll arrange a mutually convenient time and place for us to interview you about your career aspirations and the role you’re applying for. This will also be your chance to find out about Compass and the benefits of joining us – and of course, ask any questions. You’ll usually complete a skills tests, and depending on the seniority of the job you apply for, you could be invited to an assessment day or a final stage interview.
Step 5 – Preparing For Work
We prepare you for a great future with Compass by sending you a complete starter pack that explains your benefits and other contractual details. It also tells you everything you need to know about your induction, as well as giving you contact information and directions to your place of work.
