Administration is the engine room of Compass, fuelling our success and keeping things running smoothly. We operate from two sites: Parklands in Birmingham and Rivermead in Uxbridge.
At Parklands, we focus on delivering excellent financial services support to our Finance teams and help to keep our business in good financial shape. This includes everything from payroll and credit control to general accounts processing. While at Rivermead, we give valuable support to other key business functions such as Sales, Marketing and Operations.
Depending on which site you work at, you could join us in one of the following roles:
Wherever you’re working, you’ll help tackle a variety of challenges. Perhaps the biggest is providing such a wide variety of administrative support services to every area of our business. After all, you’ll not only report to your immediate line managers but also deal with managers from across our company. When you think that administrative processing for the whole business is absolutely vital, it’s a huge responsibility.
What key skills will you need to bring us? It’s essential to know your way around MS Office. And of course, you may well have general administration experience. The other two key things we look for are adaptability – ours is a fast-moving business where priorities sometimes need to change rapidly – and team spirit. It’s crucial that, like everyone else here, you’re always ready to pull together and get things done.
