Business Processing

As a member of our Business Processing team, you could help us deal with some mammoth tasks including 2,000 transactions per day, 6500 nexus files per week, and the processing of 3 million invoices annually.

Payroll

Providing a fully integrated payroll service to Compass UK & Ireland and Compass Group, our 35 Payroll employees deal with the wages of 44,000 employees per month, that’s £60m, as well as over 1,000 non-standard payments.

Vendor Management

This is the team responsible for the account management of direct and indirect supply vendors, of which there are around 7,500. They also take care of legal claims and processes, utility management and our dedicated supplier helpdesk.

Financial Accounts

Our Financial Accounts team handles everything from balance sheet and cash flow reporting, to fixed assets processing and control.

Debt Management

This is where you’ll find teams of credit controllers supporting the timely collection of debt for the UK business. This includes contacting customers and clients in respect of overdue payments, administering the resolution of disputed debt and generating bad debt provision.

Treasury

Our Treasury department is responsible for the operation of all bank accounts held by each of the UK and Ireland companies, including £650m of cash banked annually.

Finance Manager Team

Providing a pro-active financial control service to the divisional Operating Teams, our Finance Manager Team ensures current financial processes, procedures and systems meet business requirements. They also support the forecasting and budgeting process, and provide expert advice to operations and fellow finance staff on the use of SAP.

Financial Planning and Analysis

This team is responsible for managing the budgeting and forecasting process, analysing business performance, and ensuring the changing needs of the business are continually met.
