Meet the Apprentices
Compass Academy 2009
Students who joined the Academy programme last September, are now half way through their level three apprenticeships and has seen them working at the Brits and Wimbledon; spending the day work shadowing the senior management team; learning butchery skills with our executive chef and learning various aspects of our business from their mentors.

"Before I joined the Academy I thought I knew what I wanted to do, I wanted to be a hotel manager and that was it, no one was going to change my mind – but since I’ve been on the Apprenticeship programme I’ve seen endless opportunities – there’s so much to choose from. At the moment, I know want to be in a management role within Compass, but there are so many doors that are open to me."

"I can take everything away and use in my job. I am now getting to the point I can pitch ideas and understand how important the company vision is and try and deliver that in the work we do.
